Danilo Gallinari

The Clippers, Nets, and Kings are a few teams interested in the services of the 6'10 Danilo Gallinari. The Boston Celtics are also rumored to be interested in him as well only if their talks with Free Agent SF Gordon Hayward fall through and he signs in Miami or Utah. As of right now, the Clippers appear to be the front runners for Gallinari and made a great pitch this past weekend that focused on pairing him with Blake Griffin and newly acquired Point Guard Patrick Beverly. The only problem is that the Clippers will only be able 8.4 million dollar mid-level exception while Gallinari made 15.5 million this past season with the Nuggets. NBA reporters, including Sean Deveney of Sporting News NBA, report that Gallinari may be looking for a "Chandler Parsons like" contract, around 4 years, 90-100 million dollar totals. Would Gallinari accept less to play in Los Angeles? Chris Broussard thinks that the Clippers would still be a playoff team by acquiring Gallinari even with the lose of Chris Paul.
